1. DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED

The documents must be provided on the date agreed in the contract before the start of the project. Otherwise, VMP reserves the right to apply a last minute charge or cancel a contract. In order to serve you better, VMP asks its customers to provide, as the case may be (Original musical composition and / or Sound & mixing):

 

Test music (.mp3 or .wav), ideas for compositions, mp4, script

.Mp3 or .wav file, individual tracks, sync @ 00: 00: 00 or sync mark, technical spectrum of the project

 

2. THE MODELS

A mockup is a non-final musical rendering intended to give the client an overview of the progress of the work and make changes if necessary.

  • The models are returned at specific times pre-established at the start of the contract.

  • The return of models may be subject to a monetary deposit if no deposit has been paid at the start of the contract.

  • The file may contain a sound signature (Water Mark) in order to avoid plagiarism.

 

3. RECALL & RECOMPOSITION

A recall is a modification of a song going from minimal to medium (eg changing a theme, modifying a sound effect, adjusting a sound level, minor addition). A recomposition is a modification of a piece going from medium to major (eg change of musical style, key, major addition or extension). Redialing automatically incurs costs.

  • It is therefore essential to have communicated a clear idea of ​​your needs and to have communicated all the details with the composer before the start of the contract.

  • Charges applicable for each additional recall to the package mentioned in the contract.

 

4. MANDATORY MONETARY DEPOSITS

Mandatory monetary deposits are not refundable. VMP reserves the right to require a mandatory deposit based on the following parameters:

​

  • The time between the conclusion of the agreement or the receipt and analysis of the required documents and the start of the project;

  • The total cost of the project [an initial cost of the entire work estimated at more than $ 250 + taxes];

  • The nature of the project [sound projects require a compulsory monetary deposit of the first 6 hours of work, payable at the start of the contract];

  • The history of collaboration with the client.

 

5. LAST MINUTE FEES

For any project to be completed and delivered within 72 hours, a fee of 75% of the total value of the project is added.

 

6. INVOICING

  VMP accepts the following payment methods: Paypal, Interac transfer, cash, bank draft.

Depending on the case, you will be asked to pay the balance:

​

  • upon submission of the final project;

  • upon receipt of the invoice;

  • in 15 or 30 days following receipt of the invoice.

In the case of a balance payable on delivery of the unpaid final project, VMP reserves the right to withhold the project until payment of the balance.

 

7. REFUND POLICY

No exchange or refund is granted. VMP ensures the satisfaction of its customers throughout the compositional process. This is why VMP does not deliver any project without first having the customer approved at least twice throughout the work. It is therefore essential to have communicated a clear idea of ​​your needs and to have communicated all the details with the composer before the start of the contract in order to avoid any misunderstanding.

 

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

VMP reserves the right to apply cancellation fees when there is termination by the customer after the first day of the start of the work mentioned in the contract.

​

  • Fee of 25% of the total cost of the contract if terminated after 1% of the total duration of the work provided for in the contract.

  • Fee of 75% of the total cost of the contract if terminated after 50% of the total duration of the work provided for in the contract.

 

9. COPYRIGHT

VMP owns ALL COPYRIGHTS; economic and moral.

 

The economic rights can be partially transferred on a case-by-case basis and must, if necessary, be the subject of an agreement which appears in the contract. However, moral rights remain at all times the property of VMP and its catalog. Any subsequent modification of the work or any subsequent use other than that provided for in the contract must be approved by VMP.

 

10. PRICES   

Rates are subject to biannual changes.
